How else did you think you were going to watch it though? I don't think they ever indicated that donating to the Kickstarter would be an admission fee to watching the new episodes unless you contributed enough for the DVD set.

I'd much rather it go to Netflix (which I already have) than another outlet that would require subscription fees. God knows I don't feel like paying for cable ever again.
Yeah, that line jumped out at me too.
During the SNL 40 special, Louis C.K. bluntly said that the taped sketches are by far the best part of the show and that they've been doing the show wrong for 40 years. I think he's at least half-right.
The Cleese and Palin appearance would have been '97-ish, but yeah, that Parrot Sketch was a rough watch.
The A.V. Club staff is apparently much healthier than my co-workers. These animals go through Diet Dr. Pepper like it's oxygen.
Heh, whenever I kick around the idea of buying a Sodastream, I tell myself that I'd probably just use it for about a month before stowing it away under my kitchen sink next to the rice cooker I never use.
I just attempted to use one of my codes on Cheap Trick tickets. No dice. :(
Yeah, I'm curious to see what events will qualify. I have six pairs waiting for me. The weird thing is I don't even remember buying tickets through Ticketmaster more than two or three times.
Yeah, I've really warmed up to the Canon lately, but that episode was really the show at its worst. I'm not even all that in love with Se7en, and Amy still drove me nuts.
I'm fine with Tom's takedowns. It's when the FOTs pile on that I start to find it tiring. I finally had to hide the Best Show Facebook page from my feed because every other post was basically, "Hey, here's a news article about [person Tom trashed]! Doesn't this guy suck?"
*Hits thumb with hammer*
It's his fault I don't know who he is!
Shortly after Miller's death, I stumbled upon a pristine vinyl copy of Lolita Nation in a rack of crappy dollar-bin 80s records here. That was a lucky find.
That jumped out at me too. I had sort of suspected it was a suicide just by how every mention of his death mysteriously avoided an official cause of death.
Dumb "celeb dissing" lyric aside, I really like it too. It's the best song Todd Rundgren never did.
HDTracks.com is probably more of what you're looking for.
Yeah, I don't doubt that the cassette thing for indie bands was true in the 80s to mid-90s, but I would think the advent of affordable CD burners would have made them completely obsolete for this purpose, even if you have some super-fast high-speed dubbing on your deck. Anyone making cassettes today is just being…
Remember, there was that whole article here about how people think Spotify is too expensive. So basically, yeah, anything that isn't free is too expensive.
Yeah, the "CDs are expensive" thing jumped out at me too. This isn't 1999 anymore. On Amazon, you can frequently purchase a new CD for less than the price of a download.
