If you really wanted to, I suppose you could open Garage Band or whatever and do a live recording of what you're playing off Spotify. Are you equally bothered that people pay for "nothing" with Netflix?

It's no different than any other subscription-based service. It's basically the music equivalent of cable TV or Netflix.

As great as the revamped show is, I think I like Half Hour of Power even better. It's just so fun hearing all the guys in the studio together out of character.

Strictly Commercial worked for me. I was a casual fan before, but hearing that is what made me decide I needed to hear everything else.

Ehh, it's really not even worth $26 for the CD. Even as a huge Zappa fan, I don't think I've listened to it start-to-finish more than twice. The 3 LP box must a been a major ripoff back in the day because it's only 90 minutes long. I have a copy, and man, those are some short album sides.

He and Jimmy Pardo should go golfing.

I'm not sure what it says about me that I mostly know him from Frank Zappa's 200 Motels.

Kind of sounds like why I finally stopped buying Black Lips albums. After album four or five, I kind of went, "Uhh, I think I'm good on these guys."

To address Point #2, I used to feel the same way. How does anyone try heroin for the first time without thinking it's the worst decision ever? However, I think the new rise in heroin use, in a large part, is due to people getting addicted to pills (that are basically pharmaceutical heroin) and then realizing that

Swift's accent was more Scarface than it was Californian.

My main gripe is that there was way too much screen time given to cast members who have appeared on the show pretty regularly over the past few years. Where's Mary Gross, dammit?

The idea of anyone being surprised by this movie "getting away" with an R rating seems a little goofy to me. Was there any chance of the studio letting a potential hit out of the gate with an NC-17 rating?

I would hope that it lasts longer than two years, but yeah, considering rate at which handheld devices become outdated these days, I can't imagine this being a smart investment.

Actually, the new one I've been seeing lately is "DAP" (digital audio player). I guess it's broad enough term to cover all bases.

The Pono's goofy Toblerone shape isn't ergonomic enough for you?

Yeah, I never really had a problem with my Zune aside from the clunky software. I only got rid of it because my Windows laptop died and I switched to a Macbook that wouldn't work with it.

Reminds me of the people who participated in Eat at Chick-fil-a Day to support their anti-gay marriage stance… and felt like they were doing something important.

Yeah, I've always known it as a "Criterion movie," but I've never seen it. Maybe Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS would have been a better pick.

I would suspect that being on NBC might have something to do with it, but then again, shows like 2 Broke Girls have dirtier sex jokes during prime time.

That line stuck out to me too. I've never known SNL as having a reputation for edgy humor. Their political material in particular has always struck me as pretty safe and middle of the road.
