Patrice has an interesting point of view on a lot of things, but his unapologetic misogyny has always made me really uncomfortable. He has a really heavy "put the woman in her place" attitude when it comes to relationships.

@Glob - I'm not a great cook. Does that mean I can't think Pizza Hut sucks?
@Martian Judge - I think this also applies to Jim Norton. He's hilarious on Opie & Anthony, but his standup always struck me as really stiff and belabored.
I definitely get the impression that he's a comedian's comedian since I'm always hearing other comics rave about how great he is. I've never found him very funny though. I think the fact that he can't get to the end of a punchline without stumbling over his words is part of the problem.
Most people don't want shows to go out on top. Most folks think that every show that ended on a high note should have gone on for another five seasons. Does anyone really think Arrested Development would have gotten any better? I'm glad that Freaks and Geeks didn't have time to turn into crap.
I haven't seen the Studio Canal Blu-ray, but I haven't read anything positive about it. However, I think I also read that it might not completely be Studio Canal's fault, as the film hasn't been taken care of very well over the years. Still, it seems odd that a high-budget film that's only 25 years old would age that…
I really wonder how Tom Waits wound up getting signed to Epitaph. He should have played the Warped Tour.

Is it possible for a band's output to drop so low in quality that it actually ruins the good stuff? For Weezer, that might be true. I used to love the first two albums, but I basically have no desire to ever hear them again.
Made me happy too. Congrats, Louis!
Being a huge Louis C.K. fan, I really wanted to like Lucky Louie. It was a good idea, but the execution didn't work for me. Plus, I thought there was a lot of contrived edginess that made the show seem a little desperate.
Ugh
I heard Duffy and the cast on Ron & Fez when they were doing promotion, and they kept throwing the "homo queercicle" line around like it was the funniest thing ever. Guess it still is.
Soooo…
I take it Pulp Fiction still won't be getting a Blu-ray release any time soon?
Yeah, I haven't really been overly impressed with his standup. Lots of contrived anger without a whole lot of genuine humor to back it up. His podcast is great though.
Less touring?
I was always under the impression that touring is where indie acts made most of their money. I can't imagine how well he would do by just earning off album sales.
I actually had no idea Paul Bartel directed this, even though I saw it just a few years ago. He was one of the best parts of Rock 'n Roll High School.
What?
No mention of her odd appearance on Mike Patton's Peeping Tom album?
A few years ago, MTV2 started running old episodes with the videos intact, and it was really cool seeing the semi-obscure stuff they'd play. MTV2 started showing B&B again recently, but they cut all the videos out of them. It's amazing how less funny the show is without the videos.
I wonder if Greg Demos can still fit into his striped pants.
I think Bob dabbled in acid here and there (he claims it inspired "The Gold Heart Mountain Top Queen Directory), but beer has always been the main vice.
