How could you not tie in intimacy with Portner's previous work?

I've seen Broken Social Scene, Brand New and Death Cab about 8 or 9 times each. These bands pass through Toronto quite often.

It's funny you mention that because I feel his work with Broken Bells has helped create the sound his band has now (see: Wincing the Night Away transitioning to Port of Morrow)

Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart star in the film "Conversations with Other Women" and the whole thing is in split screen. Not exactly the same idea as this scene, but it reminded me of that movie. Under 90 minutes, it's a quick, cute watch.

Jake Gyllenhaal. He has really picked up over the past couple years. Nightcrawler, Enemy, Prisoners…I'm unsure about Demolition but I'm excited to see it either way.

The track's gotta get out there somehow

Islands have a great catalogue and I think Nick Thorburne is one of the most consistent songwriters from the past 15(ish) or so. Their debut Return to the Sea was fantastic and still is to this day.
