I’m sort of amused at the number of people confusing both Luminosity’s claims and its victims motivations. They weren’t advertising to make people smarter; they claimed they would help prevent cognitive decline. There is a huge difference between cognitive decline and becoming smarter.

No, they preyed on people worried about cognitive decline. That’s not something you should feel smug about.
