Wrong. I had deliberate lifetime philosophies about being rich and having success lead to pursuing more wealth and power. My principles have remained uncorrupted. I did good things with my wealth early when I had it. I'm glad for the good things I did and don't miss the wealth. I'd rather be honest.

I saw the movie tonight. I thought the acting throughout was good. I was attentive and entertained but not greatly enough to recommend the movie. One friend who is in the movie said he didn't want to watch fiction so he wasn't interested in seeing it. I suspect a lot of what was wrong with the film came from Ashton's

I don't know about vitamin A, but Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) was used recently to strengthen my cornea.

Tetris on Gameboy - I always had top score in Nintendo Power. They stopped printing my name to make room for others so I spelled it backwards (Evets Kainzow) and they printed that one. I still play it on the old school Gameboy.

I had lasik over 13 years ago. I had the monovision procedure with one eye adjusted for distance and the other for close up. I haven't worn glasses for either distance viewing or for reading since.

I leave my Cinema Display at home. That's about it.

This is not trivial. You'd have to know where the vehicle under 'attack' is trying to go in order to mislead it. Jamming is easier. Cruise missiles have dish antennas pointing upward so they'd be virtually impossible to jam or mislead.

The marketing budget got changed to half a billion. Sorry to turn your typo into a joke.

The HTC One is on the low end of megapixel count but takes the best smartphone photos, especially in semi-dark settings (colors and lighting matching what your eye sees). Megapixel count can be misleading.

Using it right now. I travel a lot. In hotels, it's convenient to use my AirPort Express. Then my computer and iPhones are on the same wifi network and wifi sync'ing takes place. Also, I only pay for hotel internet for a single device. I prefer Super 8 motels where internet is included but my hosts put me in fancy

I once took a 3-week cruise with no phone or computer access. I survived. But today's entertainment, including books, are often on our devices. The real question might better be "should you connect when on vacation?"

I signed this mouse right in front of Kanye, after chatting and joking with him for an hour or two, right in the hospital where Kim had given birth. I included a couple of other gifts. Kim went as far as she could to do the best things she could think of for Kanye and I'm impressed with her. I'm lucky to have the same

This suggests a nuclear reactor without the moving parts of a steam engine to convert heat into electricity.

I was careful to refer only to a 2-minute trailer (the early one) as [bad] and that I hoped the movie would be good.

I always understood Longleat to have been the original largest hedge maze. Friends of mine have given up after close to an hour of trying. The Hampton Maze is much smaller and they tell you to use the right hand rule. Place your right hand on a side (or your left hand) and it leads to the solution eventually. But this

Cost us $250 to build, with 4K of dRAM and BASIC. I put the design in the public domain so anyone with skill could build one for this much, or less. The goal was 'affordable'. Maybe not, now.

Dial-up days but I installed a T1 line at home. These were early enough internet times that I had a 3-letter dot-com domain (woz.com) although I prefer to use woz.org since I'm not a company. There was this concept that someday commerce would be done on this internet thing. Yahoo was probably the only search engine

The biggest weakness is that if it depends on a computer for safety. Everything with a computer fails for no explainable reason. They should kill the people who brought us computers.

Of course the government would be worried about you possibly being recorded openly. It violates their principle of doing it secretly.

This is how every byte of the Apple II ROM was encoded. I couldn't afford a timeshare account. It made me intimate with the code but made changes hard to accommodate. When code had to be added, I'd have to jump out to some free memory space and then jump back. 8KB done this way, by my own hand, never one bug found.
