Exactly. Blaming Biden constantly when his hands are tied by people like Sinema, Manchin and the GOP, because it’s too hard to actually read the entire story and write their  little blog truthfully.

Just in case you were confused by the article blaming Democrats and showing a picture of Biden, here’s the relevant bit from the NPR article:

Also a Warren supporter; your interpretation is the interpretation I like and would call “fair” and “giving credit where due,” but as written I thought it could also be read in a backhanded way. I get a little defensive about Warren; she she had actual plans, and America (once again) decided that being an intelligent

Well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

And you’d be a smaller party who never would have won the presidency but hey, you really would have shown them, wouldn’t you? Who needs power, right? Fuck compromise and actually, you know, winning elections and consolidating enough power and popular support to eventually make the big changes you want to make. Who

Can we say fuck Spanfeller here?

i like him, i think he’s very talented, and by all accounts he seems like a very nice guy, but keegan michael-key pretty much only shows up in stinkers. (bit more leeway on tv, but across the board the movies he’s in suck.)

As long as the film is actually funny, I won’t mind. And the cast is great. But... there is something about the premise - ‘a movie about making a movie during the pandemic’ - that irritates me on a visceral level, and I can’t quite find the words to explain why right now.

Generally when a person keeps running into the same problem with multiple different people it’s instructive to look at what the common denominator is.

That moment when the big movie star starts trying to explain to a disinterested party about how Aeris is sometimes translated as Aerith depending on the version you’re playing and you’re like, “We’re not so different, you and I.”

I know that Children’s Hospital in LA has a gender clinic that performs top surgery on trans boys as young as thirteen

Citation needed on that claim about the children’s hospital, because that sounds like BS.

Concern troll is concerned: The REAL problem is when folks enthusiastically support trans kids, not when we drive them to homelessness, poverty and suicide. Noted.

The entire trend of videos that are “fuck with your pet by doing X” needs to die. Some of the things are harmless but all of them encourage the attitude that pets are entertainment instead of responsibility.

“Of all the jobs in public service, police officers have the most difficult one. They must make snap decisions under tense evolving and ever-changing circumstances. They risk their lives every single day in public service.”

Not even that, probably. Maybe 2% women, 25% spam accounts pretending to be women.

Two things to remember: suplex the train and always, ALWAYS wait for Shadow!

It’s kind of weird how the two Burton movies are still, to this day, the only two live action movies that present Gotham as a fictional city with its own unique history and architecture. Schumacher’s Gotham is totally incoherent, with no sense of geography or style beyond putting neon lights on everything. But Nolan

It really is frustrating to see how many shows and movies in america with black casts are still seen as niche and dismissed for it when majority white cast for things aren’t (this is a universal thing with visible minority projects but honing in on black because I am black myself).

I’d guess that maybe 10% of the girls I knew in high school and college had the poster on their wall. It was so ubiquitous as a type that it was shocking how much the film differs in tone from the message I assume the posters were trying to convey. The other big style icon of the time, Amelie, was one that fit better.
