My E36 too. Largest thing I can fit is a grande (hot only) size from Starbucks. When I got the car, my cousin said it’s because as far as the Germans are concerned, the only thing one should be doing in one’s car is driving. My E36 M3 doesn’t have an internal release either or have it on the keyfob. You can only open it with the release on the trunk.
