Good. Because fuck Kanye West.

There are a lot of great new cars out there. Even the Audi with poor visibility is otherwise a wonderful car to drive. My comment was to mean that more focus is being put on the safety of the cars for when you hit stuff, that they're forgetting about the fact that the safest you can be in a car is not hitting stuff

I'm talking new cars. The newest Crossfire was produced 8 years ago. The new Audi A4 and A6 are enormous cars, with giant front and rear pillars and windows like portholes. I have more glass and fantastic visibility in my '98 M3 and it's a much smaller car. I shouldn't have to lean my whole body forward to peer

A great many of them do. Go drive a new Audi.

Yeah? How about the massive blind spots caused by this so-called safety nonsense. Tell that to the guy I can't see in the crosswalk after I run him down because my goddamn A-pillar is 10 inches wide.

By just running soap and water through the open lid. My girlfriend did that the first few times and it was fine but after a while the silicon seals got all nasty. Best bet is to remove and clean those seals every use.

It obviously is though, because the former is not happening. I don't know about where you got your license, but in NYC, we didn't drive on the highway in driver's ed. We glossed over it in the classroom portion, but learning to actually drive on the highway was not a requirement for me to obtain a license. They

This wins this question...1000 times.

I don't think it's awful they want to make the roads safer. But it's shitty that roads aren't being made safer by making people better drivers. Instead, you have that Infiniti commercial telling people, "It's okay to be a half-assed, crappy, unsafe driver because we'll take care of you." It's seriously a joke how

Yes, but this stuff is now becoming a requirement on new cars for people who may not want or need it.

This stuff is a different animal than ABS. ABS is an assist, like traction control, and can be helpful but requires the driver to still actually pay attention. With this new tech, you can be turned completely around and not see the bicyclist you're about to murder and the car will stop for you. Like that stupid

Between this potential development and the new NSX, it's starting to feel like 1993 again, and I'm okay with that. Now all we need is a comeback from the Spin Doctors.

#1. The fact that it is no longer necessary to be a conscientious, even halfway decent driver.

Progressive weight reduction system.

Because the S2000 is cheaper to own.

Sure, if you want to spend the next few years banging your head against a wall and taking the bus to work.

Umm...Miata?

That's what it looks like in the pic up top.

Why the hell does that thing ride so high?! I've seen rally cars with less wheel gap than that.
