AOS bumped for Trump’s speech. Hydra wins again.

Trump* has failed to call some of the mass shooting survivors and the families of fallen troops, but he made sure to call Rosanne Barr. If President Obama had done something like that, conservatives would have lost their minds. As far as the show, I watched the first two episodes and my reaction was “meh”. Decent

Nobody cares why you voted for Trump. Nobody.

I know it’s a big, big if, but if any Trump voter was hoodwinked into watching the show and actually came away from it with even a modicum more sympathy and understanding for gender fluid and non-gender-conforming individuals, then maybe there is some hope for the world. But like I said, it’s a big if.

I feel bad that the legend that is John Goodman has to be tainted by this bullshit.

I get that and the cast is great too but by watching it I feel like I give my time to Rosanne and that helps enable her voice in our society and while her writers and costars may be great people her comments over the last few years paint her as an awful person.

Trump supporters haven’t read the Iliad, so the concept of the Trojan Horse is all Greek to them.

I feel this entire administration could have been a footnote to a future administration that had something of substance to say.

Even Ross Gellar was in solid shape!

I agree with you about the makeup, I think it might have been more patronizing and detrimental if he’d said, “you’re better without it” than for appreciating that she tried something new with his mom. I also really enjoyed Lisa in this episode, she was funny like always but also very sweet when discussing the Hammond

That pacifier bit was so touching. Sheila vs. Christa reminds me of a slightly more R-rated version of the Jacqueline/Deirdre rivalry from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

The pacifier under the fridge thing just made me go “Lord these people need to clean under their fridge more”, and with that I’ve turned into my mother, so that’s fun.

Yeah. The utter waste of Weaver was perhaps the worst crime ‘Defenders’ committed. And it has a looooooooooooong rap sheet.

That was my favorite part of this episode :P

Dude, remind me not to fuck with Hogarth.

You might not get a lotta respect ‘round here!

First of all, +1 TURK!

I’m very impressed by just how committed this season is to telling a story where there isn’t some big villain the hero can kill and all their problems are solved. Like I said halfway through the season, I really can’t think of another superhero story that’s taken a risk like this, and seeing it pay off in something

A “Reverse Luke Cage” should be the name of a sex position. What it would entail, I have no clue. But it *sounds* fun.

They did that with Defenders and still somehow managed to waste SIGOURNEY WEAVER. No, at least with 13 episodes they get enough bullshit out of their systems to produce at least a few episodes of engaging TV
