I’m surprised there haven’t more movies and shows set in the French Revolution, which I’ve always found to be arguably the perfect example of history as high drama. Fascinating characters, huge plot twists, striking visuals, big, dramatic set pieces — it would seem to be tailor-made for fiction.

Prides and packs are family units that would never cooperate or coordinate with another pride/family unit. Humans didnt advance much at all for hundreds of thosands of years until we quit acting like that.

Every group of people in history has been socialist. It is the defining trait of what separated us from the rest of the animal kingdom. The only differences between political structures is how few or many control and benefit from the combined group effort.
