Professional or not, they seemed to have a good grasp on what was going on. The storm is obviously moving from left to right, and they don’t get closer until it has passed over the road. They were not in a lot of apparent danger, except perhaps from shit falling out of the sky.

You don’t know chilly...

The proper garage for a Panamera.

Alissa Walker would like the Panamera, if she liked cars at all.

And the only source of lithium in the U.S. is Silver Peak, NV.

Damn! With this thing, I wouldn’t need a drone to look in my neighbor’s bedroom window! Perfect!

Careful...there’s folks here that think you’re referring to an aircraft and not an essential, man-powered tool.

Poor Boston. Always trying to be a ”big” city like New York or L.A., always failing. Grand Prix? NO. Olympics? NO.

A long time ago, when I was a young, impressionable armor crewman, I saw one of these (at either Grafenwöhr or Hohenfels) on a live fire exercise. It seemed to come out of nowhere and made two quick passes on the target - which looked like a BTR-80 - and just chewed it to pieces. Perforated it like a giant soda can

Hahaha! That must have been the thing for taking AutoCAD on the road. I had the same setup. With Release 11 if I recall correctly. Had a version of Oracle with PL/SQL (that ran on DOS) on it too, that came on about 90 5.25" diskettes. Took all day to install it.

It’s exactly the same as a Tandy, only completely different.

What a gorgeous piece of machinery! Almost as sexy as the 1970 Porsche 917.

Where, exactly, in outer space did this thing come from? I think that might be hyperbole...

There were no IBM (or any other) PCs in the 1970s. Using old stuff doesn’t necessarily mean “backward” - that’s a very millennial point of view.

I wish you had used a few analogies and metaphors to clarify all the hyperbole. Otherwise an eloquent piece of writing. Please explain the success of the Mazda quad-rotor 787b at Le Mans.

European food is great!

The northern part of the country or the southern part of the country?

An A-10 could have landed in the guy’s street and parked in his driveway.
