As someone whos driven a car with a f1 style racing wheel, it’s mostly a none issue....

Now playing

I wish they went with Mahk from the fake GM commercials. But this is a good take.

You are one of the best parts of Jalopnik. I look forward to reading wherever you end up. I’m glad (for personal reasons obviously) that your last article was about a beautiful solid axle Toyota.

Some of the best F1 racing are the mid-field fights.  If you go from 4th on the way back to about 12th or 13th, there was some good racing in there.

but it’s way more exciting to me than baseball, football, nascar and indy car.

Im all for electric pickups but why hasn’t the big 3 offered some hybrids for now to help transition. Heck toyota has had great hybrids for over a decade, where in the hell is a hybrid Tacoma or tundra?

welp....thats a sweet gesture

I could believe that a Russian troll farm or white supremacy group manufactured a “logo” for Antifa that a dumb-ass campaign staffer latched onto. But it is equally believable that the campaign employs an outright Nazi or twenty who chose it specifically.

Uh... sorta... To me it looks almost exactly the same as all of the other mid-sized trucks available except it has a Mazda Grill.

You really have to own one to realize how overbuilt they are. I have a 100 and a 200. Everything you touch is thinker, better quality than you expect. The kicker for me was when I took the front door panel off my 100 - the wiring harness to the door was hilariously overbuilt. At that point I got it.....even the pieces

As others have said, it’s an insane amount for a car of this age and mileage...unless you are shopping 80 series. I paid 5600 for my locked 220k mile example before the market for these started going nuts for the same thing now I would easily pay 9+. Here is the logic - They are like a good house in a neat location

Solid front axles, way more capable off road, electronically simpler, rebuildable subsystems....and designed, by Toyota, from the ground up to last forever.

Why do people think that? Because other people pay their asking price with glee and reckless abandon.

This is actually fairly priced for the market, so I gave it a NP.

That said I’d rather have this instead of a 10 year old tacoma with 200k

The car shots are nice, but the cut shots of an espresso machine every 20 seconds really started to get on my nerves.

I love Jerry and his brand of comedy, and even most of the comics he seems to be friends with and/or invites on his show... but yeah, this energy you speak of has slowly become more apparent. I chalk it up to his getting older and more curmudgeon-y... like it’s just a phase of old comedian life.

He didn’t even have Patton Oswalt, I have several I wish he would have on, some before they die! He never had Jerry Stiller and he can’t now!

I’m glad i’m not the only one who has noticed this. I’m always annoyed by someone who self appoints themselves as the gatekeeper of anything. I had a neighbor in SoCal who introduced himself as “the Major” of the subdivision...eat d*** would have been an appropriate comment at that moment.

I still use my 2011 Macbook Pro 15.” I did add memory and an SSD, but it works great.
