I got to the third main area and just couldn’t take the around-the-corner hits any more. I know that its a thing in Dark Souls, but that’s usually a small poke - something that’ll let you know that the enemy is there without (usually) having too great an effect on your run.

I still don’t - and probably never will - understand people who have a problem with a game’s roster being made up of diverse characters.

I’ve gotta say, I’ve only ever seen Overwatch tourneys in retrospect - meaning that I only see them AFTER they’ve happened. Perhaps it’s just me, but I never seem to see announcements or social media posts when the games are actually going down - instead, I’ll see highlights or reminders two weeks ahead of time.

It always sucks to see a studio get moved around like this (it doesn’t always end well for the employees)...but, as someone who though Andromeda was a hugely disappointing departure for the series, I’m glad that BioWare is taking a step back and refocusing, rather than simply pumping out another, similar game.

I never knew that I needed young turians or baby krogan in my life before now.

As many problems as I have with Halo 5, I feel like 343 Industries NAILED the loot boxes. You always have an idea of what loot tier you’re getting, there are NO duplicates, and it’s totally possible to simply play and earn enough boxes to feel satisfied.

And that doesn’t even take into account that people are PAYING for these terrible odds. Paid loot boxes don’t offer a better chance at Legendary items, and there’s nothing preventing one from being full of duplicates.

If anyone wants more history on the M1 Garand, Ahoy does a great retrospective on both the weapon’s real-life history and its role in the gaming industry:

Good. Shit like this is unacceptable, and he deserves to be held accountable.

The man sighs. It is not a sigh of disappointment, or anger, or any other such emotion - instead, it is a sigh born of the inevitable, the realization that the outcome has already been decided.

Honestly, I really like Orisa. She’s certainly not a replacement for Reinhardt, but she’s fun to play as - and, yeah, she’s a bit squishier than most people are probably expecting.

Yeah, as someone who really got into it with the Taken King, that’s what my order would be, too.

“It’s a byproduct of having an audience this scale.”

Hype.

Good for Playtonic. This is exactly the sort of thing that should happen to those spewing out bile, intentionally or not.

Is anyone else upset that a virtual YouTuber is seemingly OK with a terrible framerate?

I’m usually fine with loot boxes, and I know I’m just on an unlucky streak, but after two weeks of opening Overwatch loot boxes filled with nothing but Whites and Blues...

why you gotta remind us of that

IFC Yipes is my friggin’ hero. Dude could make ANYTHING hype.

My biggest issue with the film is the actual answer to the question ‘where did all the mutants go?’ I understand why the film wanted to establish that the appearance of X-23 is crucial - having a new mutant appear in a world full of them wouldn’t have all that much impact - but the actual reason as to why the mutant
