I get the pressure, but c’mon. Swiss Army knives aren’t the ones used in crimes. Most of their blades are under 2.5” long, which usually passes local ordinance standards in many municipalities strict on knives. Their blades are clearly for utility and are actually useful as such.

If they're so smart how come they're all dead?

God thanks you for your feedback and will attempt to make adjustments.

Way too many galaxies in the background.  The utter vastness creates a feeling of nothingness.

Hmm. I wonder what won instead...

I’m not sure if the chinese care about the future as we do. The Three Gorges Dam has been provoking earthquakes in a region not used to them, build megacities which go empty, a lot of EVs which go unsold and in the process are polluting their land like an invasion is coming.

The million bodies problem.

It would be poetic indeed if the damage was the result of their own Feng Yun-1C satellite skeet shoot back in 2007. Either that or Russia’s Cosmos 1408 destruction debacle.

It’s especially easy to get emotional when you were one of those kids. The Dark Crystal was one of the first VHS tapes my family owned, and so deeply formative for my love of movies and fantasy, to say nothing of his other works.

The aristocracy there is more inbred than European royal families. The BG’s primary methodology is their breeding program and has been influencing it that way for millenia to get a Messiah that they can control.

I have been saying for sometime that the people who only know DUNE from the adaptations—especially those only know of Villeneuve’s—pushing for Dune: Messiah are really, really not going to like it. Just as the original fanbase did when the novel came out in 1969.

Maybe she was disgusted at the plan to marry her daughter to her first half-cousin.

Are all Landsraad family trees shaped like a flagpole?

His knowledge and level of thinking go beyond sex and drugs too. He’s asked a pointed question about Bene Gesserit grooming and what would’ve happened if Lady Jessica had, in fact, had a daughter with Leto Atreides as she was supposed to, and if that child would’ve ended up having a child with Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.

Well that slideshow was fucking pointless...

Are we talking the novel, the Broadway musical, or one of the movies?
