Yup, my first thought was “Yeah, not easy at all when your stepmother famously breeds like it’s an Olympic sport.”

I can just HEAR that exaggerated, faux-Spanish accent: “YOU JUST NEED TO DO MORE YOGA!”

I nearly puked myself to death during two pregnancies. Hyperemesis gravidarum is no trivial matter. My mother did

It just dawned on me that Hilaria is her stepmom. Excuse me, madrastra.

Kinda weird to mention that repairs cost more when in fact one of the biggest benefits of owning an EV is how much cheaper the maintenance is over time since EVs lack many of the parts that you’d have to replace on a gasoline vehicle. I do love how much time I save not needing to care about oil changes and smog checks.

Former Civil Engineer here. One semi truck does the damage of 10,000 passenger cars. If you eliminated trucks from a stretch of US interstate highway, you’d reduce the required concrete pavement thickness from 9-10 inches to 5 inches. You’d also extend the pavement life from 20 years to 50 years.

So I’m not too worried

well, you need more expensive repairs but you also need FEWER repairs overall, so it tends to be a wash. Obviously you still have a drivetrain but there’s a lot less to go wrong with an electric motor than the complicated dance of pistons and valves that is an internal combustion engine. There’s a reason the electric

Those aren’t hidden costs for anyone that actually researches, or puts any thought at all, into the purchase.

I have used baking soda, several times, with great results.

I agree that it’s not great for people who want to, say, take a trip every other weekend. I think this is designed for people who want to take 2 or 3 weeks off and move from place to place every few days. Like the article said, it’s intended to be like a road trip with trains.

If you’re just freshening carpet, not removing stains, use Febreze fabric. The whole process is to trap smells that then evaporate. I don’t know the exact science but I know it works.

Most (all?) commercial carpet deodarizer products are mostly baking soda.  People have been using it for decades on carpets, with no problem.  I suspect the issue now is that weak robot and stick vacuums have become so popular.

Good. She’s a terrific actress and didn’t deserve to have a career end with the scandal. She committed a crime, but if there’s a range, which there is, her actions weren’t too egregious. Every parent, even the wealthy ones, wants their children to do well and will do anything for them to succeed if given the

i know she’s a Bad Person, but we don’t talk enough about how, almost more importantly, she’s a Bad Actress. i’m so fucking glad i don’t have to see her in star wars anymore.

IKEA has those style of wheels and I wish more places did!

In Europe, ALDI carts use a Euro or a Pound coin. The US dollar coin isn’t popular enough that many people would have them, hence ALDI had to use the US quarter.

Return both carts: profit!

Metal shopping carts cost a lot because there are hundreds of welds where all those metal struts meet and that labor takes time. Plastic ones are injection molded, but probably priced to compete with the metal ones.
