It occurs to me that military aircraft are light on the bottom for multiple reasons, including making them harder to see against the sky.

Good article, hope that we see more from this writer.

Agreed - Boeing is a garbage company now. Engineers used to run the it, now it’s just MBA bean counters.

Fun fact: the sun is a lot more intense at 35,000 feet, in all ways, because the atmosphere doesn’t block the radiation, the heat, or anything else as well as it does on the ground. This is why flight attendants are at high risk for cancer. The plane can normally bleed heat fine, because (as you say) the air is very

Undoubtedly, but at the same time, it isn’t modified in the same way as Airforce One, or carrying the same electronics. Airforce One has significantly more electronics, equipment, and sensors than the plane you’ve got pictured with different cooling requirements.

Considering Boeing’s troubled history for the last 22 years, I wouldn’t be giving them any contracts of this magnitude.

I’ll settle for a Jurassic Park and Top Gun Maverick mashup

I would love this.

Sony needs to just give Marvel the rights back and walk away.

I think release schedules are more of a symptom of Warner’s not having a clue what to do with its DC properties than *the* reason (consistent quality) the MCU is beating the DCU.

🙄 Marvel needs a decade long time out.

This is the real reason the MCU is beating the DCU: release schedules. Marvel Studios has a schedule and sticks to it, for the most part. Warner’s has no clue what they’re doing. So maybe it’s Black Adam the end of this year and maybe The Flash next summer, or maybe not.

He also seems to have a pretty good chemistry with Ryan Reynolds. As long as the writers understand Deadpool I don’t think the movie is in any trouble.

The Deadpool movies are rated “R”, but it’s all still very juvenile and targeted at an adolescent audience. It’s not like a Paul Verhoeven “R”.

Domino was a huge highlight of Deadpool 2, definitely hope gets a big part in 3, fingers crossed.

Gimmie more Domino! And more Sugar Bear!

Star Trek II: The Wrath of James Caan

I don’t know whether to be impressed or disappointed that there are no Monty Python references in this article.

Yeah, I’m all for chicken thighs over breasts.  I’ve had a real tough time finding them lately though, boneless/skinless is completely out so I’ve been buying bone in/skin on and butchering.  It’s not all bad though, I always have some bones in the freezer if I want to make stock now.
