Nothing ever does

They were picked up for a second season. I’m hoping there is enough there.

The costuming - like everything about the show - is top-notch. It’s an impressive show, and I’m really nervous that they’re going to botch the ending. It seems like this is all building to something coherent, but you can’t trust a limited series not to blow itself up in the last 15 minutes.

I hate to be the ‘this didn’t need a slide show’ guy, but this didn’t need a slideshow.

I’m all about QUILTBAG as an easy-to-remember, easy-to-say, all-encompassing acronym.

It’s a big get for the LGBTQIA+ community.

I love this movie, but my interest in living it is minimal at best

We can’t even get cops to get vaccinated despite the fact that the number 1 cop-killer over the past year has been covid. The word constitutional doesn’t matter to these people

THANK YOU!!!!  i thought i was the only one annoyed to death by this!

When you have an older house with no garbage disposal you LEARN to wipe debris out of pans before washing them.

This, and just to help you out when you get a notification on this comment, here is the comment I replied to: “Also, can we talk about how hard it is to find comments on your own posts? Like, why can’t I click on the person’s comment and go to it?” It’s fucking ridiculous. you used to be able to click on the

The first hop was adding this godawful feature to G/O, and judging from this listicle, we’ve now skipped into “we’ll throw anything on the list for the sake of clicks!”, and are a short jump away to list titles featuring absurdities like “You Won’t BELIEVE What #27 Has to Say!”

Contagion is wildly unrealistic: there’s only one major character in the movie who’s actively trying to spread misinformation, and I can’t remember any government official who isn’t competent and genuinely dedicated to public welfare. The general public sometimes acts panickly, but their motives are almost always under

Pre-2020: “Contagion” is pretty scary. Kinda pessimistic, though. And a bit snobbish about online media.

...So you’re saying we should release velociraptors into the everglades to combat burmese pythons?

I like the cut of your jib.

It often even lets you get around some pay walls. But, shhhhh. ;)

Also, can we talk about how hard it is to find comments on your own posts? Like, why can’t I click on the person’s comment and go to it?

There’s a problem of Pythons invading Florida’s ecosystem because, wait for it, PEOPLE WANTED THEM AS PETS AND THEY ESCAPED. Not one, not two, not 20.....THOUSANDS, enough to start destroying Florida’s ecosystem. Enough that there are dedicated hunters to take these things out before they fully destroy the ecosystem.

Which, to be fair, is why it works.

Slideshows are a mess. On Jalopnik too. Format it right or get rid of it.
