The problem with introducing a character who’s the “smartest person alive” is that you need writers who will treat her as such. I haven’t read the source material this is based on, but smartness, cleverness or any sort of subtlety is NOT something this show does well. It does loud, dumb, messy, entertaining,

Frenchie and Kimiko were the biggest drawback for me in the first fiew episodes, as I felt they were end game and apparently they’re not. This season seems to totally pass the efforts of past seasons and it makes no sense to me. I agree with the article. Why did they spend three seasons setting it up to veer wildly in

None of them can blow someones head up just by thinking about it.

when did Frenchie become gay or bisexual (not that its that suprising) and break up with kamio? (or vice versa.)  This seems to come totally out of nowhere, was there ANY foreshadowing of this, or any mention at all? I dont remember, it seems like forver since i watched season 3.

To embrace what you’re ridiculing, you have to also embrace it.”

Well we now know the answer.

You truly are a fascinating commenter.

Melissa has always been an asshole, but she was especially bad here. I mean, I get it, but her ruthlessness really pissed me off.

Also, her struggles to stand up in her second trimester of the first week.

Best line of the night for me was Carol during the Celebrity game: "Enrique Iglesias! Julio Iglesias!" "I'm not sure you're getting it" "I HAVE A METHOD!"

I'm amazed by how quickly I have come to accept that as Phil's normal look.

This show is very very funny, and yet the somewhat rare dramatic moments are always brilliant as well. Forte killed it when he had to protect Mike from the group. This was a really good episode.

So were all supposed to like Nellie now cause Daryl give us the old "she's trying" speech? What the fuck? Fuck you The Office writers, that ain't enough.

I thought it was sort of implied that Erin quit her job with Andy. Why even make Andy the boss if it was just going to be temporary? Why not make it Creed or Toby or Jim? That way it wouldn't be so depressing when that person got fired.

Everything said in this and the comments following it.  I'm hard-pressed to think of another episode with so much Kevin and it was all excellent

Oscar said that there was a (recently debunked) rumor that the guy was dead. Ryan probably heard that the guy was dead and used it as an excuse to make himself sound deep or whatever. Because Ryan is a douche.

Let me sum this up for all you people who hate reading:

Kevin's dog is alive! Phew!

remember how they tried to pretend in the last episode that Nellie was an actual human being with actual human feelings? they sure dropped that fast, just as well since nobody bought it anyways

I just rewrote the entire conference room scene, dialogue and all, in my head with it ending as Daryl moved Nellie's stuff out of Andy's office (as suggested) and the entire office pulling a sort of "I'm Ben Hur" and forcing Robert to man up and do his fucking job.  Andy got tattooed for these people, something
