Poor Keller. That shit was brutal.

Wow, quite a joyless review here. Sometimes it’s fun for a show to crank up the fun and just be as goofy as they can in an episode, and for me at least it was most welcome. This was one of the best AoS episodes I’ve seen, and apart from the hilarious tripping scenes and the lovely bromance between Fitz and Enoch it

Interestingly Geezer Butler who wrote the lyrics had never heard of Marvel’s Iron Man when writing the track. On another day he may have wrote Aluminium Man.

May’s ass-kicking scene was so damn good.

“and the episode-ending reveal of Fitz working in a grimy lab and speaking an unknown, likely alien language”

Fitz speaking an alien language? The dude who’s lost in deep space? You don’t think!

Dale Dickey is always wonderful in everything I’ve seen her in too. I’ll give this a spin, although it just looks like a Dexter movie had he decided to be a social worker instead of a lumberjack. Sigh.

Ugh, Dax episodes are the worst.

The advice from Mr Duck vid gave me warm happy memories of Johnny Morris’ TV show back when I was a young whippersnapper. Happy, happy days.

Oh man this is such sad news. I recently rewatched The Last Kingdom and had forgotten how amazing he was in it, he always seemed to have such fun with his characters and threw everything into them. BR aside I think my favourite Rutger movie is Wedlock, it’s pure cheese but a lot of fun. RIP and thanks for all the joy

Mixed feelings here I guess. I love this show, and the cast, but 7 seasons is a really good run. It will also be a relief not to be constantly fearing a cancellation after each season, which has been the case for a few years now. I sure will miss them when they’re gone though.

Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (reprise) to be exact.

Decent finale, the action scenes were pretty dope. The less said about that Never Ending Story scene the better though. Although “Dusty Bun” absolutely wrecked me.

Can’t wait for this. I try to recommend it to my friends but when they ask what it’s about I don’t know how to describe it. That’s what makes it so damn good. Oh, and Sonya Cassidy of course.

A much better episode than the previous one. Hopper in the Funhouse was really good, along with the Flayer attacking the cabin. I’d be up for some time travel shenanigans in season 4. Oh, and D.A.R.Y.L. needs more love.

Yes, good point about the racism. I get the feeling he became a “fan favourite” after season 2 and now the writers just want everyone to forget his disgusting comments about Lucas in season 2.

I’m pretty sure Ash mentions AoD in the final season. He tells his daughter (iirc) that he once went to medieval times.

This wasn’t as bad as “The Lost Sisters” but it was close. I’m not sure what’s happened this season, maybe the show’s popularity has slightly ruined it. The first couple of seasons felt a little like Indie movies, with a good balance of horror and humour. This season, although I have enjoyed parts of it, feels off.

Black Lightning as Dominion thug!

The sheer scale of that “secretly run by the Soviets” mall and its underground complex is kind of hilarious, but that aside this was a fantastic episode. The hospital scenes were incredible. Poor Busey turning into The Blob, I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry.  The Rusky going full Terminator was pretty dope too.

This episode was more like it, the Stranger Things I know and love, with the forced comedy and teen romance toned down to an acceptable level. The sauna scenes were superb, and the pod people reveal at the end was nice and creepy. All that was missing was Amazing Grace playing on bagpipes :D
