I could be wrong but Norm McDonald mentioned the Murphy incident on Howard Stern before. Apparently, Spade made a joke on Weekend Update where there was a picture of Murphy and he said something like, "look kids. A falling star." Murphy was pissed and stormed the office the next week. Spade hid under a table.
