I saw the article said the USB-powered portable hard drives previously topped out at 2TB ... so I guess what I’m asking is if it’s safe to buy the 3TB portable hard drive, or should I stick with buying a hard drive of that capacity with an A/C adapter? I’m paranoid of another failure.
