My first operational squadron in the Navy had a thrashed Beretta as our wardroom vehicle. It was infamously known as “The M9". If it could speak, many Naval Aviators would be.... in trouble, shall we say.

Absent an HOA, I could maybe see some cities have rules about this too, especially in the blue states like IL, CA and NY.

Good analogy. TG USA is sure a hell of a lot better than any of those “let’s build a car from scratch in less than 36 hours” bullshit reality shows.

Chris who?

Trumps idea of a safe limo:

The only PRODUCTION LINE STOCK ‘67 ‘Vette that would stand a chance of running with a production line stock ZR1 would be an L88 or a ZL1 (a whole two of which were produced). That would be true until 80 MPH or so, at which point the ‘67 would die by aero drag.

The C4 Corvette ZR-1 is still a bucket list car for me to drive.

For Cobras, the answer to the question “is it a replica?”, is always: “it’s a replica”. Real Cobras not in climate controlled garages are about as common as unicorns these days.

They have it set up so you just use the rear axle/brakes from the fox body.

Well, the base FFR kit is designed to use quite a few parts from a foxbody Mustang, and by “quite a few”, I think it’s close to“as many as possible”. However they have their own tubular frame, which is why I was questioning what kit/company he had in mind.

FFR Cobras aren’t built on any preexisting car either...

Mmmmm Cobra....I don’t like convertibles nor do I care for kit-cars much, but considering the Cobra was the first car that I can remember that I really fell in love with, I would totally rock this.

$40K is a new optioned out Toyota Sienna.

This is interesting because the V8 Vantage is only the most beautiful modern car ever and we should all have one. Or at least I should. Well done you bastard.

The Cygnet was intended to be a gas mileage special to bring up Aston’s corporate fuel economy numbers — or maybe emissions. Either way, it was never sold in the U.S. I’ve only seen three in my life — two in Monaco and one in Istanbul.
