I own a C#, and have had several.... Have only had issues when the system was open to the elements. Replacement calpers, often have stainless steel pistons - eliminating the problem.

http://www.supercars.net/cars/2526.html quickest article I could find... (Midnite and at work!) there were some suspension mods...but chassis remained the same. And by the way, Love the C4 too...I had a 96 with some ligenfelter goodies about 13 years ago (before kids, married, etc). Phantabulous car.

81 has a 1 year only electronically controlled quadrajet called the E4ME. (I own an 81)

look it up...one of them was an L88 on the gulf team. 1969 I think. Not mine...I cannot afford that. It went at Mechum, was owne by Mike Yager, the guy who owns Mid America Corvette. Chassis was stock...added cage and probably some different shocks, springs and tires.

But only if it has the Hellcat :) No one wants a limo that won’t hoon!

Tell him to keep the panthers, and buy that Lincoln Town Car concept if/when it ever comes out. Otherwise, Suburban, Benz, and Bentley.. or used Caddy’s. Few cars can pull off “Limo” well- without looking utterly stupid.

I went that route...Mine has a billet crank 383, at 9.5:1 and a 700R4 conversion... (was an auto car)... I do wish I had done the LS. I run about 400 horses, but an LS 3 could have gone in for the same money.

nope. The chassis is exceptionally strong in these cars...and they were built to take unrestricted big blocks with north of 435 HP. Chassis fine. Fully boxed, and very robust. (if there is no rust damage, or shoddily repaired accident damage.) Check it for cracks...repair...and hoon away. I own one...I know :)

Yup.

No. Use an Aluminum V8. Corvettes should not have a 4 banger. Save those for Toyotas.

A 6 speed and an LS will go quite easily into the car... the chassis is fine...you know these chassis raced at Lemans, right? They need to be properly set up. LaFerrari will kill you if you dont know what you are doing. I would suggest a Willwood or Baer brake system, or an upgrade to C5 components for the brakes

Easy fix. Edelbrock 600 for 300. HEI dist with a Tach hook up- $180. $9 for a dizzy wrench. 40 minutes to an hour to install. DONE.

They made a version for the Demokratik People’s Republik of Kalifornia, and one for the rest of the civilized world. I think 1980 was the Kalifornia only car.

The calipers have not had issues in years, unless they were improperly done, or the system was open (any brake system will have those problems,) The Ebrake, if not serviced, or not used (as on automatic cars) will have issues.

No...they sit high in the rear, the rear is independent...needs camber adjusted...that it. 4 wheel alignment and fixed.

Nice price all day long... $5700 for a Pace car? DONE. Sign me up! I have a C3...great great cars once you get them sorted.

Pics...or it didn’t happen.

Not a Steam Roller....This is a Dynapac twin drum roller.... a steam roller....would be steam powered!!! :-) Sorry brother...I just could not resist.

This guy...is awesome. I love the fact that he threw caution and common sense to the wind... built a unicorn...and DRIVES IT!!!! We need more stories like this!

ZO6. This is not even a question!
