This was one hell of an episode, just the right amount of suspense character development and surprises. I am really amazed how this show did a 180 going from filler episodes to just major kick ass, the way the previous seige on paris and attack on Wessex had played out. Rolo winning really was a surprise.

It saddens me dearly to hear Ragnar claim he has no drive to fight on, to conquer or revenge his people, this is the Ragnar lothbrook that sacked paris and brought kings to their knees. I dislike the way this show is going, can't wait for GOT, at least that show isn't throwing in too much nonsensical filler.

Alternate histories and fantasy aside, the likely hood of getting the emperor's daughter through such a harsh route is nil, rather than having a french slave that was taken through the sacking of Paris. At first I thought she was french, which would have made sense but as time passed I realized this show took a turn

I agree, Lagertha has so much potential for so much more, yet she is always in some shadow, or whoring it out for advantage. At least she got hers and maybe we'll finally see her as a ruler as she deserves.

Then maybe you should watch the show before you speak almost all the women are demeaned in such a way. The english king for one, called herself a whore in that very episode. Her character is really gross, any slave with a mind would get the hell out of there given how quickly they kill and abuse their slaves. Or did

No she was freed, and decides to slut it out in order to fully flesh out this plot point that will just waste more time aka fill in while they come up with better ideas. Of course we'll have a small 10k force of vikings invade China and face 700k chinese army with cannons better weapons and ships and still manage to

Ragnar could play dead again, only this time he might stay dead.

breath is one thing but this season already is on episode 5! It opened with two great episodes and has started going down hill to the point of stagnating, and it seems they are all out of ideas, replaying the typical mysterious possible villian (and his brother) who magically appear out of no where. Throwing an asian

This season was a boring filler, and the predictable ending at least partially resolved something that was getting dragged out. We need to attack paris or get revenge on england ffs. This season has been lackluster.

She is the emporer's daughter, lol what now vikings invading china? So much for history.
