Nah that's cool. I understand what you mean. It doesn't bother me when people are personally offended. THat's their right. I was more concerned when the people that are (supposedly) offended band together to attack someone that offended them. It's ridiculous to me
I can't wrap my head around people that try to get other people fired and ruin their lives over "offensive" tweets or jokes. The phony outrage is a weird type of bullying. "hey did you see what (insert @) said? Let's get him!!!" These people were probably tattle tales in elementary school
You do get to voice that opinion. But no one has to respect it to the point of having to be quiet. You may not expect that but a lot of people do. I think that's what that quote was getting at. People use "I'm offended" as a sort of privilege. Also it's absurd to get offended at any joke. Why would you care if…
