So much of this show doesn't bear thinking about. Sure, they stripped the larder, to quote Jaime. Where did they put the food? It's not in a gigantic wagon train slowing down Jaime's army. So it's in some other place. Maybe a major fortress like Riverrun, or maybe in a fancy country estate like Horn Hill. Either way,

She understood perfectly well Jon wasn't calling just her a child. She was correct in assuming he included her in his insulting description, though, and that was the part she was annoyed by. She probably felt everybody else was insulted too, but wasn't annoyed by other people being insulted.

The ranting about the Mad King burning people alive is lame. Again, Cersei Lannister has likely burnt more people alive than the Mad King. (By the way, I think being insane is not the same as being evil, or demon-possessed either, which a lot of people can't seem to distinguish from psychosis or calculation. Obviously

Perhaps I'm unduly credulous about the possibility of adopting an alias in ancient times.

The series has never, never showed why that matters. It really is a serious failing I think.

Dragons.

Then the bannermen are deserve Darwin Awards. Cersei is alive and has probably burnt more people than the Mad King did, but they're raving about the Mad King? The dead aren't on a crusade against humanity, they're just against stupidity!

His credibility hinges on being returned from the dead, not his resistance to the Mad King, who almost certainly burned fewer people than Cersei.

Two things with Bran: First, not being able to explain is a hint that there is only one Three-Eyed Raven, because time travel. Second, unlike Cersei never talking about Tommen's suicide, Bran talking with Sansa about her horrible trauma is emotionally honest. Even if it is partly impelled by Bran's guilt. This was one

Subtlety is the enemy.

Not true about the other presidents not being sexually aggressive. Grover Cleveland, Warren Harding, LBJ. Also unsure why Jackson's duels are so acceptable. Killing people isn't as bad as screwing out of wedlock?

That is the hint.

None of them will accept wildlings south of the Wall!

If Jon Snow could invite in the wildlings, he could kneel to Daenerys. This is the writers arbitrarily ginning up conflict because they want Daenerys and Jon to meet cute, the version where the destined lovers think they dislike each other at first. Neither character is really Elizabeth nor Darcy, though, so it's just

Think you're right.

Speculation: Varys has been secretly working with Littlefinger.

Re people not explaining….hack writers think people talking bores the audience, while it's people moving around is action.

The real answer is that the script services Tyrion, therefore Jaime believes him and Sansa innocent.

Skipping over the BS designed to magically turn Cersei into the seeming winner, for the sake of fake stakes in otherwise meaningless conflict, there was:

The show glories in Tyrion's crimes, so undoing the patricide is not a pressing necessity. On the other hand, making Tyrion a magical Targaryen is further glorification so they may do it yet.
