When I started reading Kotaku about a year ago, and really getting into it within the last few months, I never imagined some of my favorite content on a video game site would be about a wide variety of foods Mike Fahey deems interesting enough to eat. But, here I am, laughing and screaming out at the Whopperito falls

Ah, the rare Phallic Sprout. What a delightful find.

I believe the phrase you are looking for is “artificial scarcity.” That only applies to products you can purchase and that can’t be duplicated (like software). But yeah, I got you. I think it just makes copies of this game more exciting to have. It would have been cool to download from the official source, but now,

I mean, yeah, you should be critical, but what good does that do? You may be missing the point that the sources are anonymous to you and me, but not to Jason, not to Stephen Totillo, not to Kotaku. Kotaku did their due diligence in verifying the story before publishing. I trusted Jason’s report immediately because I

People keep harping on the whole “anonymous sources” thing, which is dumb. I hate being a journalism student and seeing soooooo many people not understand that anonymous sources are appropriate when the editorial staff is trusted by readers and smart enough to independently verify the stories they get. Such as Kotaku.

This is fucking not okay. I can’t even tell if this is a thing actually programmed into the game.

Hey, I got over the ending a while ago. And by a while ago, I mean not until the next trilogy of Mass Effect games ends.

The original Phoenix Wright Trilogy is on sale on the 3DS eShop this week, like $16? I apply grabbed that as I’ve never played a Phoenix Wright game before. I’m excited!

What’s the best video game soundtrack in 2016? The correct answer is Hyper Light Drifter.

It’s a Year 1 screenshot, so it’s probable.

So, that’s reaching the galaxy core I see clearly outlined on my map? Is there a secondary goal in reaching the universal core? Because that would be much cooler.

This is pretty accurate to my experience. I think it was once I picked up my first contract that wasn’t a main quest, that’s when I realized it was one of the best games I’d ever played.

I got a new SSD in my desktop, so I’m playing Overwatch all weekend! Playing on PC is a far different experience than on Xbox, where I had been playing previously. I’m very excited to get better with the keyboard and mouse setup and get into the competitive season, probably next season.

Will erotic fan fiction save this game from the disappointment of fans around the world? Who knows? Next week, on Kotaku...

Fortunately for you, journalism stylings often eliminate the oxford comma, according to the AP Styleguide. You’d be in good company in that regard :)

ABSOLUTELY SAVAGE

Awww!! You’ll be greatly missed! I’ve loved reading your work here, and I’m sure I’ll keep reading you in the future. Farewell, and good luck!

I’m stoked for Abzu. I love everything that I’ve seen so far, and I think it will be a worthy Journey-style game.

What’s the best video game soundtrack of the year (so far)?

I’m really into your Splitscreen podcast, particularly your differing opinions and broad variety of topics. What other games podcasts would you recommend I listen to with similar vibes?
