@DoctorDynamite: Thank you, I appreciate that. I'm not alone though. All of the editors on all of the sites have gone above and beyond to answer questions, and then there's all the people behind the scenes who've worked endless hours over the last few days to overhaul everything and to answer all of the thousands of

@sbruna: There will be an option to delete your account in a few days. Sit tight!

@tinycake (Rachel Fogg): Glad I could help. The upside to all of this is that if I get a lump of coal for Christmas, I won't be surprised or disappointed :)

@mesiikittie: The Fusion page is currently not working for those that had configured it pre-hack. It's one of the many systems that is being reworked right now.

@loves2Grind2612: A feature that will allow for you to delete your accounts will be available in a few days.

@tinycake (Rachel Fogg): Interesting issue, but definitely something I can help you with! First off, we will be rolling out our account deletion feature in a few days, so when that goes live you're more than welcome to use it to delete your old account.

@phisheep: You do not need to put an email in. Having an email associated to your account allows for you to reset your password or have a new one sent to you, as many people are opting to do. It also allows you to receive email notifications when someone replies to your comments. But it is not mandatory.

@Baboonski: This is an issue with some accounts. Send an email to help [at] gawker.com so a tech can personally assist you in this matter!

@Eschekt: I completely understand your statements. You have every right to be upset. Security wasn't the only thing breached with the hack; our relationships with the community were also breached. And honestly, it's a sucky feeling.

@LegendaryGamer0: Send an email to help [at] gawker.com describing what you did and the error you're getting. A tech should be able to help you in fixing the issue and getting your account back to normal.

@ninj4d: That is a recurring issue for some people. Send help [at] gawker.com an email with your info. Make sure you explicitly state that error so that it can be dealt with quicker.

@MSgtSimon: Once everything is settled and working again on the backend we will begin to incorporate features such as Facebook Connect again.

@BONERJAM: If you got a confirmation email from the helpdesk, just reply to it saying your problem has been resolved so that it can be removed from the ticket list.

@mmomjian: None of the passwords were stored as plain text, contrary to rumors. All passwords were encrypted, but that doesn't make them 100% secured. Even encrypted passwords can be cracked if a hacker really wanted to crack them. In fact, they did with some of the big accounts that belonged to editors and employees.

@jamescam: To answer your first question: We are working on a way for people to delete their accounts. It should go live in a few days, so keep your ear to the ground.

@keirns: Hang tight, we will have a way for you to delete your account in a few days.

@robl326001: Oh man, that's too bad.....buuuuuuuuuuut.....

@spideykid0: When did you join? There might be a chance you weren't affected.

@ps3udorca: In order to comment you need to create an account, and in order to create an account you have to put in a password. Just because you are not approved doesn't change the fact that your account and it's information are on file. Perhaps the reason why you've been automatically signed is is because your

@iamerror37: That's a recurring error for some accounts. But it is fixable! Just email help [at] gawker.com with details and the error message and a tech will be able to help you out.
