I've already started growing my beard. Part of the job requirement :)

I'm glad that I'm not alone. For once when it comes to technology I'm part of the lucky minority :)

@Confuzius: It might be too early for a plugin Hi-5. WP3 was just released, so I'm sure we'll be seeing some newer killer plugins over the months. I think a plugin High Five would be good around Christmas time, when the dust has settled.

Adam, perhaps the 3G slowdowns are a case by case basis? Either that or just for the majority, and not all?

@Adam Pash: Thanks for the heads up Adam.

@DDigital: Congratulations! You've earned your commenter Gold Star! Take a peek at the following post regarding comments, it has some sections about what you can do when you get your Star. [gizmodo.com]

@stolichnayaaa: I can only hope that this means we won't be getting ads.

@Yavar: Munox doesn't have any ocean-killing effects. In fact, it is used in a variety of different industries worldwide every day, including food processing and water reclamation.

It isn't as if Microsoft hasn't made some extreme and costly sacrifices in the past all in the name of beating competition to the market, right? the 360 is Public Enemy #1 so the cost of the Kinect doesn't surprise me.

The solution is Munox, but by the time it gets through all that red tape the Atlantic would be a black slick.

@the7ouch: Yup, they kept failing or breaking from regular usage. I think the Sony Ericsson T68 was the only one that didn't die, it just became outdated really really quick. I still have it though, works fine!

In all honesty, as a 3G owner, the 3G is what the iPhone 1G was last summer. It was on the fringe of becoming "obsolete" in tech lifespans. Is it unfortunate? Yes. But one thing I can say is that the iPhone 3G was my first iPhone and the first phone I ever owned that lasted me 2 years. I used to go through a phone

Thanks for the VERY important tidbit on iOS 4 on the 3G. I couldn't find any other decent reviews online that told me if there were any performance increases on the 3G, so kudos. You saved me the pain and suffering of upgrading to try it out myself :)

This is awesome! Some recipes were a bit far-stretched (celery and cheese for example. Ingredients? Celery and cheese) however there were lots of helpful and delicious recipes. It's perfect, even for the beginner cook or college student who doesn't have much time or doesn't know the ins and outs of the kitchen. Kudos

@Destati: "Fact is, I doubt anyone is going to spend 150 dollars on Kinect based on 5 titles which are all in the casual genre (isn't it sad that Casual is now a genre?)."

Slovenia and Ghana at the top of their groups? Who would ever have guessed! Team that should have been at the top of their group but failed miserable? Spain.

I completely agree on Preview. You'd think Windows 7 would have an application that natively supports all popular file type standards being used today. Perhaps we shall see this in Windows 8, considering Microsoft is pushing towards bridging the gap that exists between it's desktop, mobile, and gaming platforms.

@Ursus-Veritas: Mistakes happen, especially when editors are doing it on the fly from major events like E3. The best way to inform them is to email them directly, as they do not always have the time to read through comments!
