Any list of great swordfights that doesn't include The Three Musketeers with Gene Kelly as D'Artagnian, or, more fantasy-related, The Great Race (The Great Leslie vs Baron Von Shtupp, fighting first with rapiers, then sabres), is simply unfinished. End of line.

So... is there an Amazon link, or not?

Gak. I will never look at a comic book the same way again.

Clarke, ever the Master, said it best.

You. Have. NO. Taste. I'm not gonna even get into how many of these cars you're wrong about.

Yo, JLo: Every "haggard old crone" should look that smokin' hot.

May I suggest a new title for this article: "Engineer Needs to Frakkin' Get Real"

I remember greeting card companies using this effect on PCs equipped with webcams, but it didn't go anywhere. But seeing it done with a phone raises so many on-the-street display and advertising possibilities as to be truly mind-boggling...

Slow news day, eh?

I truly mourn for the man who gave me Captain Scarlett, UFO and Space:1999.

Sorry, but despite your examples above, I can't say we're having anything even close to a superhero "golden age" right now.

Beautiful view. That's a lot of wasted light pouring out into space, though...

It's not aerodynamic at all. Imagine it without its engines... it would drop like a rock. Even so, there's a logic to the design that does work... and it's at least symmetrical, unlike the Falcon.

I think you missed: The hero's space ship needs to get the $#!+ kicked out of it, or actually be destroyed, leaving the hero(s) devastated by the loss (and usually stranded). But it is almost always fixed or replaced, no harm no foul, in the end.

Nothing against the Muppets, but personally, I'm holding out for The Entire Warner Brothers Looney Tunes Collection... every single cartoon of all of those Warners characters, even the one-off non-famous-characters cartoons under the Looney Tunes banner. (And including banned cartoons.) No edited-out violence, you
