Your diatribe upon a subject where you are wholly devoid of knowledge. Irrational prejudice plus total ignorance does not make for a sensible post. In point of fact, the AKC sponsors more working tests/competitions (including herding) than conformation shows and cumulatively has more entries in them.

I don’t need to google it. (i read these over the years)

You’re not too bright and wholly bigoted. Mutts with serious health problems die of their problems early or are put down. Purebred dogs are more likely to receive care to extend their lives. Sure, vet clinics see more problems in purebred dogs. The mutts don’t get care and ultimately aren’t there anymore. Nor are you

Not just the author. A lot of the commenters here. Most of them couldn’t even tell you the difference between a reputable breeder and a bad breeder.

The author of this in wholly uninformed. Hip dysplasia is not a “symptom of inbreeding” . How ignorant. It is a (mostly) genetic problem and good breeders take care to be sure that all breeding stock has been X-rayed and OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certified free of HD. Show (and good field) breeders all

Except there’s no evidence a mixed breed or purebred dog is healthier than the other. I mean how do you even prove that when you aren’t even certain what breeds are in a mixed breed.
