Your analogy is broken. Games don't break down with age. A great game always stays a great game.

You say that, and yet for as 'big' as they are their release schedule for games leaves something to be desired. They way you talk they're Ubisoft/EA-sized (which admittedly I have no idea whether they are or not).
Is it sad that I want this to fail? Don't get me wrong, I love Valve, and Steam is great, but I want games from them, not niche consoles.
Luigi?
Points for the Hogan's Heroes reference.
Kettle, met pot.
"Coming soon to mobile"
Amen. This is totally not a big deal at all. Lucas Learning, anyone? This is the same thing. Just another article title to rile folks up. In all honesty this is probably a good thing — getting Mickey-ites to join the dark side and learn to love Star Wars.
Agreed. The only issue I can see is readers perceiving this as exclusive to E3 (which is not the tone of the article). It's exclusive to anywhere that morons gather. While I've admired my share of pretty ladies, they should not have to dress all manly to be able to do their job.
Heh, thanks for the laugh! That made me smile.
Sorry we're not all MLG like you.
Thanks for the good luck wishes! I'm sure I'll enjoy my Xbox One, and in all honesty I actually do hope you enjoy your PS4. I know you might have been sarcastic in your comments, but I don't see a reason to continue to argue. It sounds like we've both made our decisions.
So you've used it yourself, or are you just following the internet train? The system is a trainwreck because of management. It functions fine. I've never seen an issue with gameplay.
How is it bull? Heard of OnLive? ALL computations are done on a cloud, and the only thing sent back is a video/audio signal. Mock it if you will, but it's proof positive that cloud computing works. It's widely used in all other industries. It was just a matter of time before a key gaming player jumped in.
Don't. If you can't see reason to by an X1, it's not the system for you. And I'm not trying to sound snarky when I say that.
Yes, because internet connections will only get worse of the next months and years.
Edge is reporting that it all *might* have been a PR play... interesting.
It's free-to-play. What did you expect?
People can dog on this all they want for pointless things like a poorly compressed video, but I've got a real question: What sort of racing wheel options will be available for Forza 5. You don't play—-experience—-a game like this on a gamepad.
