I admire his dedication, but I think I'd much rather keep the original consoles intact, play with the original controllers (he talks about authenticity, after all) and just split the video signal with some sort of selector. It seems like you lose what you were originally going for when you make one controller to rule

A thousand times yes. I loved this game so much when it came out.

tl;dr (well, I read about half, then saw the size of the article and gave up)

Is this digital or retail? That's going to affect whether it warrants a purchase.

You're dead on about Miranda and Jacob. Couldn't stand either of them. Ended up modding my ME2 save to get the best possible ME3 playthrough, though — so I had to deal with them again.

Looks like an endless runner with a few action sequences. No thanks.

Yeah, this looks comfortable. I've been a hardcore 360 this generation and have become quite comfortable with the way the controller sits. Looks like Sony got the picture about making it a bit more ergonomic. It looks wonderful

Exactly. Sexual orientation should be irrelevant, and never advertised in online gaming. Straight or gay, I just want to play an online video game with you, not hear your life story.

+1

OMG. Still footage of an in-progress game. Guess I'll pass judgement now, seeing as how these have to be 100% representative of how things could be. :P

Nexuiz 2012 was just a bad game in general.

Kotaku's awesome, but you should really read up more. The 99% thing was heavily disputed. Check IGN for the story.

Agreed. And I loved Jedi Outcast/Academy (even though I loved the original Jedi Knight 1000x more). Force Unleashed did saber combat well.

Just wanted to point out for those thinking those are mod screenshots, I'd doubt it. Kotaku went through the trouble to watermark these images, which means they want credit for them when other sites reuse them. I'd say they're the real deal.

With the new trilogy versions does ME1 use the ME3 engine updates? It'd be nice to see the visual improvements.

Talk to a black, indian (or any other minority) or woman actually active in the Mormon faith, then rephrase that statement. Thanks.

Sorry, but someone who chooses the name "DangerTits" carries little weight in the subject of religion.

And of course half of the commentary I see is hate. Bravo, Kotaku.

I just don't feel bad. I got rid of a lot of stuff like this to make room for more important things. Now I have a career, a wife and two kids. I still game, but it's just not as important as it once was. It's life. It's not some awful sacrifice. I don't take the author as saying it this way, but I know many people do.

That's what I was thinking, too. The screen looks like it's an absolute max of 40". With all the other decor it just seems dwarfed.
