That is the exactly the problem...I’m sure this ship will help but an underwater sub hunting UAV would be better and they may have that, just gonna publish about it.
This ship will do it’s job, I don’t think it’s the best tool for the job. It might help in an area denial type situation, but if you really want to hunt a sub, you need another sub to truly hunt them. Anything surface or airborne, isn’t going to be as good as something in the same domain as a sub.
