The knuckle heads leading our military, are our own worst enemy! We can take the cost of 2 or 3 F-35’s and take the F-22 back online. Trust me, the engineers, mechanics and equipment are all still around. It’s not as difficult as starting from scratch! Dumping the whole F-35 will give you lots of cash, and that can

I bet some supply Sgt. in the Air Force was going, you want us to ship all these Parkas and ECWS gear to where again. See, it gets really cold and snows in Florida during August, so we need the long johns to go with them too.

Thanks Tyler, this is a very valuable history lesson, thats been repeated so many times! Why put out OP’s, if you won’t listen to them?
This happened so many times in WW1 and WW2. The Battle of the Bulge is one fine example, OP-to Command post, Hey, we are hear all these tank noises and oh by the way, they are

I don’t think anybody has mentioned the really huge brass ones the pilots have to have to launch like this! No wind over the flight deck changes a whole lot!

I find it interesting to look at some of the issues of just the landing gear systems. Kinda tells you a whole lot about the way Russia Air Force is.

The landing gear is really strong and built to take a pounding, it’s really not aerodynamic at all.
It stands tall off the ground, because they don’t do much to take care

Some interesting things these little have besides quite.

I noticed they have their lockout trunk isn’t very big that I can tell, so few men and equipment to go out and play, unless you make several lockouts.

Interesting they still use the Mark 1 glass eye ball! I think that is really way better than any camera ever

It’s gonna be interesting, do they have ATC and other aircraft have to obey them? Its as much a admin. thing that helps make it see, legit. Military just makes it strong, making it OK legally, is a whole different matter and setting things up like this is that start!

I think if you took the cost of 4 or 5, F-35 helmets and put it into this, we could solve all it’s problems and develop it into something that would work as designed, unlike the F-35 itself.

Tyler, another great article about the war, that has lasted all other wars!
The CG could give lesson to the Marines on getting best bang for their buck and using all you have and then some to get the job done! People do not realize all the crazy mission sets the CG has now! It is overwhelmed, underfunded and pushed to

There is a cure at the bottom of a vodka bottle for that...

This is provocative and probably cheaper for the Chinese than aircraft carriers. The bigger behind the scenes scene, is it’s about controlling sea lanes and commerce for everyone else, but it’s about oil for the Chinese. Its an interesting juxtaposition, the Chinese need both, but could loose both... if they don’t

The only thing worse than a politician interfering with military procurement, is the inner-service rivalries. If the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force ever cooperated and worked together...God help the rest of the world! Big business is pretty dumb too, they think that all the inner-service rivalries and infighting

This is where we are 10 years ahead of everyone else, data management. It’s also going to be the biggest learning curve of what to manage and how much is too much. I am sure there are statisticians, gamers, pilots and command & control people, that are looking at what the other guys have and how much we can mess them

Jeff Bazos called, and he wants his idea back home and in one piece! Oh BTW, you can now special order for Prime members only...

It’s kinda interesting, sorta like the Russians. Well we have one, we are learning how to use it and soon, we will be able to remove the training wheels.
Now the US has learned a lot of lessons by the trial and error method, over a whole lotta years. The Chinese and Russians have only the one aircraft carrier each to

Somwhere in Russia, a colenel is yelling...comrade, get more shovels and a sergeant is yelling, keep digging, deeper...

I hadn’t seen that loadout before! What a great load and that’s only by half!

There is much more, than that, The tailhook itself is an major structural change, it has a much tougher landing gear, be able to withstand external saltwater exposure, which is a major problem with the F-35 now, and other under the hood changes.

That sounds like a good theory, but the next battles will be different, in so many ways. The lessons leaned from so many centuries of war in ship building, was build it to take hits and keep fighting. Today’s newer generation are, what the hell, take a hit, run and we’ll build a new one! It’s like the F-35, it wont’

It was frightening to me, and the chief and ET-2/SS I talked to mentioned they were kinda worried about it too! It’s sad, the lessons learned, will have to relearned and peoples lives lost to fix it!
