From what I’ve read on the forums, it sounds like the harder driven ones have fewer IMS issues. It seems like higher RPMs do a better job of forcing oil to where it needs to be, and the more babied M96s seem to be the ones with problems. I’ve read some saying looking for higher mileage 996s (60k+) will likely weed out…
