It helps if you use new LED lights. The old ceramic ones get hot. Also the mini lights can get warm.

I would like to offer a few of my own personal suggestions for speakers under 2k: Polk audio RTi line, Monitor audio RX silver line, and Hsu Bookshelf speakers. Also, I like the Pro-ject Debut III for a low cost, high quality turntable.
