I think they’ve handled it pretty well. They only feature it in certain scenes, Link remains mute and the rest is traditional text and voice gestures. It’s a decent balance.

I would have preferred they did Emerald Hill or Angel Island since they covered Green Hill in Generations. I think we’ve seen Green Hill remixed enough at this point.

Yeah the comic book look they gave MvC3 really helped the game as it aged. I think the goal now is to make something that looks good while still maintaining 1080p 60fps. Fighting games don’t have to be phenomenal visually, although games like Injustice are really pushing the bar there while maintaining good gameplay.

It still just comes down to games and that’s where Xbox has kind of fallen off in recent years. I’ve never owned one personally since games like Halo and Gears of War never really appealed to me. I know XBAC is a pretty good service and their online tends to be better than most, but again, not my forte.

Yeah, my only real problem so far has been Noctis jumping when I’m trying to interact with stuff. Makes you wonder why they didn’t utilize the triangle button for interacting a-la Kingdom Hearts 2.

In defense of the Pro, isn’t it on the game developers to throw out patches for higher framer rates and other graphical tweaks? The console itself is just the hardware. From Software would have to be the one to throw out the improvements for the game. Unless I’ve got that wrong...
