Wait, you drop “Sting Ray Robb” as a race driver’s name, and leave it at that?

I’d be all over one of these at a show, so someone needs to buy ‘em and get on it.

If one were looking for a project, this would be one, alright.

Back in the day, a lot of railroaders worked their way up through the operating trades, starting as conductors or brakemen (not sure if that’s even a job anymore) and gaining promotion to engineer as they gained experience. Operating types who wanted to would be promoted to managerial positions as they accrued more

My dad’s ‘63 Corvair was my first regular drive growing up. Learned about trailing-throttle oversteer that way (didn’t know it was called that, though). The second-gen is peak ‘60s GM styling and one of the era’s best-looking cars. I’d guess this one gets the asking price.

So, “delinquencies for people aged 18-29 hit a five-year high?” Just what’s this number? Might’ve been worth including that, as it’s only the article’s basic premise.

Maybe find another blog? One where they pretend nothing will ever change.

That was George Jones.

Actually kinda impressed he got it in the car wash at that speed.

Gee, sorry. This is That One Movie With The Surprise Ending, alright.

Terrific film, thanks for not spoiling the heartbreaking reveal near the end for Rockwell’s character. The film looks so cool because Jones opted to shoot with models (ala Douglas Trumbull) over CGI.

Minor point, but one that proves the writer doesn’t know what they’re talking about: they’re not “building a train,” they’re building a railroad on which trains will operate. It’s like saying “they’re building a car” at a road construction site.

Just a terrific band. Their truck driving songs (two albums' worth!) are some of the best road trip soundtracks.

The original Camaro and Mustang were never muscle cars. Pony cars.

As the crappy-ass Disqus seems to have deleted my original comment:

He says we’re going the wrong way.

“Covert Chevrolet” operates behind a Kia sign, right?

Compare ‘em with the models they replaced. They were a revelation at the time.

Boat appears to be under power, at least at first?
