I wouldn’t look at the statements you have from Steve Carlisle and Mark Reuss as contradictory at all. From the info in your story, it sounds like Ruess (or someone at his level) made the call to omit SuperCruise. Steve Carlisle’s response sounds like he’s trying to cover for that someone, as he may not have agreed

That might be acceptable in a Toyota Camry, but not in a car that is marketed as “track capable” and comes with things like “race mode” and “lap timers”, etc etc.
There’s a neat video of sports car ace Andy Pilgrim hot-lapping a ZR1 ‘vette, during which the On-Star system activated as it thought the car had been in a

“Shitter’s full Clark...”

Agreed. For that price, you could have probably two (mayyybe three) seasons of GT3 Cup racing. Although, at the end of 2 or 3 years of Cup racing, all I would have to show for it would be some cool on-board video, many scrap body panels and lots of frequent flier miles...
After 3 years of owning the BT62, I would

Did anyone bother to dig into that site a little further? CHECK THIS OUT, a crashed-up Lambo for $45k...what could possible go wrong...

This wasn’t my first rodeo. I’ve done track days, driven high-powered cars, regularly do racing sims and more”
Sorry Alanis, but this is quite literally your first rodeo.  Wheel-to-wheel is a whole different animal.  Note my racing resume appears to match yours so I can’t claim any sort of superior skill or experience.

Ohhhh....sorry I just re-read that...female *students*?!? Yeesh...that’s pretty damn tacky. Didn’t see that myself, and there were a few female students in our class. From memory you were told to “dress for the weather” and “wear proper *driving* footwear”, no heels, etc...they were pretty adamant about that leading

I believe this was in reference to office and front desk staff, not the on-track instructors. I’ve been to this school twice, and on both occasions everyone was awesome and professional (in terms of behavior and appearance).

Dear auto manufacturers,
While we appreciate all of your efforts to make fancy mid-engine sportsy cars, we would also appreciate it if they didn’t sound like shite.
So please, from now on, skip this flat plane crank funny business, and make your V8 race cars sound like proper V8 racecars.
Thank you,

Oh yes...fond memories of that ride...and the shifter karts...good Lord the shifter karts...somewhere I have GoPro video of me squeeling like a child over the wind noise and engine buzz the first time I pulled the trigger down the main straight.
All the best to those involved...it’s a wonderful place that I sincerely

So - question for current Jeep owners with the 3.6 and the 6-spd slush-o-matic...how does it behave when towing? I have the same setup in the Van-borghini, and while it’s “adequate” for a minivan, I could see it as a pain in the nards for towing.  Main issue is that it short-shifts and is reluctant to gear-down when

So I’ll be that guy - it’s going to have a blindspot as big as the damn Bismark. The rear door sills and C-pillar are huge and you won’t be able to see f-all out the back corner. Hope those blind spot monitors are setup right!

Of course! Note that we also usually apologize after telling said politico’s to “take off”.

By “eff off”, you mean “take off, eh?”

This premise DOES NOT appeal to this Canadian, AT ALL. Our government, like most, has proven time and again it has an innate ability to f*ck up on a colossal scale.

All the stars for this...now where’s my lawnmower and paint gun!?!?

1989: Benetton Formula 1

That looks like TMPs winter lapping day, yes? 10/10 *will* do again!

Suggestion - check out “All Weather” tires...slightly better than no-season hockey pucks, not as awesome as full on snows. Given your situation they might fit the bill...

Looks great, and a 6-spd hatchback version is right up my alley.
