I can’t see how a parent could let this happen.  It’s unheard of .... mostly by her son.  But I digest.

I remember plenty of kids doing this when I was a kid but those were the days where we still ate dinners together. So there was at least 1 meal where you HAD to eat what mom made or else because you were being watched.

This is, most likely, not the kids fault as much as the parents/caretakers fault for not letting the little spoiled bastard starve until they broke his will when he was young.  

This is a bad parenting problem.  This is some level 11 coddling.

I feel sorry for this kid that the adults in his life were so goddamn stupid that they let him permanently damage himself over the course of years.

This story hits close to home for me. I only eat vodka, ramen broth, bootleg gin, branchwater, tomato wine, sour mash, and new moonshine. I too, have gone blind. Solidarity, brother.

You assume that the purpose is something besides making content to get views. Which is the real purpose, of course. If they wanted an electric pick-up they could have done as you suggested and if it needed to be a Tesla pick-up that could be done without filming, editing or uploading. There's no point asking why…
