I’m sure it’s nice, but for that price, what would *anyone* get one when you can get a light-to-moderatly equipped Germany luxury sedan.

This supports a long-running theory I have that nobody in the Bay Area knows what money is or how much of it to spend on anything

This. 100% this.

Not with Subarus like my old (05) LGT, at least. Or any modern turbo that is also water-cooled from what I understand. Here’s a blurb from Subaru themselves:

Flip the server a couple buck a head. If you want to work for tips, don’t work at a buffet.

I’m not sure about a convertible, but if this thing was a hard-top it’d be worth $1k at best. At $6k I’d expect it to be concours-ready.

The real tragedy of the report is the indication that a new Tremec eight-speed dual-clutch transmission will be the only option, with no mention of a manual, which we’ve also heard before.

Maybe b/c it’s referencing a Beyonce song. Idiot.

To be honest, the stability control did most of the work. You can hear it working.

Buying at Carmax in most (but not all) cases is for uninformed buyers that don’t want the hassle. There’s value in that. But they lowball the piss out of trade-ins and pull the same car salesmany shenanigans to try to explain to you why your car isn’t worth much.

CP when new, CP now, CP forever! God, the very sight of this shitbox makes me want to puke!

These were garbage even when they were new, sorry to ruin your rose-tinted childhood memories.

At first I though, yeah - good point. Even more tunable.

The owner managed to make a very classy, sophisticated car look like a drug dealer’s Chrysler 300. Congrats asshole, and CP.

That’s just so incredibly incorrect. I had never heard anytbing of the sort and aggressive googling found no confirmation of that statement. The first gen Viper V10 and the oldest version of the new Hemi V8 (from the 90s) were both developed from, the LA V8, but that doesn’t mean they’re the same

I said she wasnt very good, buddy. Those stats prove that is exactly what she is. Thanks pal!

Literally nobody in this thread is making the argument you’re bitching about. Nobody’s saying, implying, or even acting like she needs to be better than average.

You are the only person I’ve ever heard say she was underrated.

And her low finishing positions, despite being in championship caliber equipment, massively disagree with you.

I’ve always appreciated the fact that the Magnum SRT8 existed. But I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen one. And the few base Magnums I have seen all look like they were prepped as background vehicles for a post apocalyptic SyFy movie.

This is your reminder that life isn’t fair.
