Oldtimer and Youngtimer refer to existing things to describe their age. Modern/future classic is something that could potentially be, but in practice are terms used by delusional people to describe V6 Mustangs in Craigslist ads.
learn how to reduce a fraction before you come here with that kumbaya garbage
Since the efficient 4cyl turbo needs premium, the annual fuel cost vs the 6cl is nearly the same. ($50 per year difference) This totally wipes out the incentive to spend extra $1000 for the 4cyl engine, essentially taking 20 years to pay off.
Came here to say exactly this!

Writes for Jalopnik but has no recollection of Panoz.......yeah, that’s a red flag
Seriously, the amount of complaints on a supposed enthusiast site about rear seat legroom is ridiculous. If you want a larger, heavier vehicle for the rear seat space, go find that elsewhere. Stop the bloat.
GM made a number of questionable decisions with the ATS, including the terrible capacitive hvac and radio interface, the diminutive rear seat, the low rent gauge cluster, lack of ventilated seats, and the interesting placement of the exhaust tips. Also, the 2.0t had a higher than average failure rate. All told, there…

GTI / Golf R or Focus RS all day over this. I can never get over how ugly and disproportionate this car is.
>After buying an enchanted Power Glove at a garage sale, you find that it will grant you the power to change one very specific thing about the universe with a snap of your fingers: the 2018 Mazda6 is available in the US as a wagon, and the manual transmission is available on all models, but every Mazda6 also becomes…
Your losing much more in fuel economy than what you gain in repair costs for a carbed vehicle pretty quick. Plenty of fuel injected vehicles with same parts cost as carbureted engines for sure.
You’re a total outlier in the car market in general, and you’re a million miles away from this plan’s target audience.
sometimes there is more to victory than what is on a spec sheet.
WTF... why is it so much? I drive over 25-30k miles a year and live in a highly populated state that ranks near the top for worst insurance rates.I now pay around $1,200-$1,400 a year for two cars (and even that drives me up the wall).
I have a garage, the tools and a lifetime of knowledge, starting from about age 12 I was replacing engines and everything else with my buddy and his dad. Anyway moral to the Story, I pay the Chevy Dealer 100 bucks to change the Oil on my Corvette Z51 even though I am more than capable. There comes a time in life where…

A good lease deal on a $35K car is $350/month. If your insurance is $250/month I suppose this could be an ok deal.
LOL, I call bullshit. That doesn’t even make sense if someone as frugal as buying a 200k truck is interested in an expensive small CUV. I love Volvo, but this is a crap plan.
Well that’s interesting, because my girlfriend has a Model 3 reservation that she placed soon after reservations were open, and she hasn’t heard a peep from Tesla. How did you get a Model 3 so soon after ordering when there are people in line that have literally been waiting for years? And how can Tesla justify people…
