This price isn’t terrible, but it’s still close to double what I’d pay for an ancient, high-mile, beat to shit 4x4. Sorry, the name jeep doesn’t bump me a penny. (should anti-reliabilty make me want it more?)

Agree with your thought process, but spun main bearings do point to a lubrication issue or possibly a cooling issue but nobody’s mentioned an overheat. I’d say we’ve got enough circumstantial evidence to say it’s certainly related to the recall work. I’m open to theories. What are your thoughts on this one?
These guys work on toyotas. They haven’t even seen anything under the valve cover since school. PS, great idea having Subaru do the engines on this joint collaboration. Nobody saw this coming...
CPO just means extended warranty if a car meets some very minimal parameters. The cpo warranty costs money. Sounds like that slippery dealership got real close to ripping you off by backing the warranty out of the deal at the last second. Good catch, and a huge warning about ever dealing with that dealer again.
Same sentiment I'm currently having about radwood contenders.
Great news, with incentives, you can just about swing the nsx and a new supra for $175k.
Jesus, $551 is AVERAGE? If you've got the money for a $551/mo car payment, you should be paying cash for that car. If not, you're getting in way over your head.
That’s it... Officially done clicking on comment of the day. What happened to when they were funny or clever or both? No offense to for Sweden, it’s a mildly amusing rib. No shame in posting, but cotd?
I think it looks like a fusion to people who aren’t very familiar with Aston Martin, which is clearly what they were going for. I don’t think Hyundai would be thrilled to hear people think they were trying to rip off a dead (and unpopular) ford’s styling.
Starbucks isn’t a coffee shop, it’s a shake shop where some of their shakes have coffee as an ingredient. They literally look at you funny if you try to order a cup of coffee.
Yay! I can change my dollars of foreign currency into pennies of coffee, for free!
Who is paying this much money for an eighties 4runner? How can they not be familiar with the interior AND the ride AND the handling?
I know a practical joke when I see one. P. Hand, Dunkin’. Running a little early on 4/1.
A gt4 would get blown away by stock 23 year old camrys, no exaggeration. 0-60 was 7.4; the ‘97 ce did it in 6.9. Even the ‘92 would’ve been a nail biter with 7.6. The gt4 was only peppy, or zippy, not fast, even by 1990 standards.
This ho-hum, barely faster than it’s camry brethren of the same era, car might be worth $5k to the right buyer in stock form. In its current state, if it drives well, he’s got a $2k-$3k car, if he can find an idiot to buy his hacked together mods.
So the leaf and bolt are both more expensive than the Tesla and don’t care at all about performance vs the Tesla that’s rwd, does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and corners like it’s on rails. And, unlike the Tesla, resale on leafs and bolts is ridiculously low making the cost of ownership at least $10k more. Why are the big…
Yes, it’s definitely okay to stiff the server. It’s also okay not to pay for it the wrong dish. Imagine if you ordered a club sandwich but served you a T-bone and a lobster tail. You say it’s wrong, don’t eat it, they refuse to do anything about it then send you the bill with the $60 surf & turf. Paying that one too?
You’re joking, right? Surely, no one is this stupid.
She should not eat at restaurants. If her allergies are really that severe it’s going to kill her. Also, she’s totally fine with spit, right? Ordering like that makes everyone in a restaurant angry - and everyone knows Ms. Bland’s “allergy” is bs. I refuse to go out with people like that because of fear to what might…
3 bites is fair, as long as you asked how everything was at that point. If the server disappears for 30 minutes after dropping off the food, and the customer struggles through eating as much of a terrible meal as possible, that's on the server.
