Something to think about with schools and churches. There’s a good chance you’re dealing with a volunteer, who was volun-told to take care of the pizzas. Not only might the guy be working for free, not getting a single slice of that pizza, but he might have paid you three bucks out of his own pocket that won’t be

Anecdotal evidence...not saying these folks are wrong, but warming up doesn’t matter until after 175,000 miles with routine runs below -20F. Might be a lot longer than that but that’s the longest I’ve ever personally tested. If we were all wrong, wouldn’t at least a few of us have complained about seized bearings?

Staring at that car for 4 hours would have been more exciting.

Yes, anything below 0c (32f) can be dangerous if you're not prepared. I find those 100c (212f) days to be pretty tough even if I'm dressed for it.

Counterpoint, the Mazda 3...does it?

Why the change in focus in the article? Tesla said they outsold EVERY luxury car in America, then after the rundown of all cars sold in America including foreign brands, the references became about telsa outselling only American luxury cars. Downplaying or just a mistake?

Market saturation for the $60k model? Definitely agree. But what about the mythical $35k (more realistically $40k) version? Once it’s about the same price as comparable ICE Lexus, caddy, etc, and it’s an EV, I think sales will pick up again.

Windows 95 is 24 years old and xp is 18 years old. I guess you're right that people with a 20 year old Tesla shouldn't expect much support, but who's driving 20 year old cars and expecting free fixes when stuff breaks?

Sound argument. You’re absolutely right for hot spot restaurants that have a line out the door 7 days a week. Not many restaurants are so lucky though. Even the restaurants that are so lucky, are often only that lucky for a few years before enthusiasm wanes. If you’re constantly busy, you’re right, set strict rules

Sounds like you’re assuming I’m saying they should seat a party of 2 at a 12 top while they wait. Not the case. I’m saying they should seat a party of 10 at a 12 top and let them get apps and drinks while they wait for 2 people. The table is just going to sit empty for 10 minutes while we wait in the lobby anyway.

Enlightening. Short, yet to the point. Next time I post something on the internet, I’ll stop and think first. Thank you for your insight.

Just wanted to drop you a note that your policy not to seat incomplete parties means I won’t be coming back to your restaurant. Instead of being seated and enjoying drinks and appetizers, 19 of us were asked to stand in the doorway for 10 minutes while we waited for 1 person stuck in traffic. We look for an

This is not an incorrect counterpoint.

I worked as a server / bartender for 6 years. I just put a higher value on customer service than you do.

Yes, and you’ve only produced 20% of your chalupa widgets for the year. At what schedule will you need to amortize your dorito tacos sprockets to offset LIFO food costs?

McDonald's as a first job. Those were the glory days. When an order was wrong, it was because a half dozen teenagers tried hard but screwed it up. Now, food is always cold and wrong, because the half dozen 40 year olds don't think they make enough money to care.

Kid loves taco bell. Taco bell loves that she loves taco bell and sends thirty bucks of swag her way. The rest of this is on fox 13 and the internet with its magical (and sad... very, very sad) lack of common sense.

Half the article is advice about “what if she says no?” Buddy, if a ‘no’ is in the cards, you’re moving too fast.

No, the 4k version are the same crappy movies, just higher resolution.

Oof, the world we live in, where Netflix is good gui...no filtering, no sorting, the same title appears over and over again...and this is the 'good one'.
