For scientific purposes, it’s nice to be looking at the images corrected to match what you’d expect to see in conditions on earth. Makes it easier to compare against all of the data we have here without having to try and adjust for the change in lighting.

I'm pretty sure they use monochrome cameras with filters because it preserves a lot of data opposed to color cameras. then they processes multiple images with multiple filters to give you a colorized version. 

This is fascinating. The fist image almost looks like a cork tree . BTW- why do they color correct the image? I’d like to see what it really looks like on Mars. Couldn’t they at least show both?

not uncommon. They just call it a 3 day wedding retreat to sound fancy, it the same things most weddings do. Friday night you have wedding rehearsal and small dinner afterward. Saturday is the wedding, Sunday is a brunch for the out of towners who stayed the night and are leaving later that day.  

Yes, and as much as I hate to give them even a small portion of credit, Jared and Ivanka were likely fine with that -- it would be awkward af to sit with the likes of Katy Perry and Diane Von Furstenberg knowing they think you’re complete trash (correctly, of course).
