This. The entire “record” is a total joke now that the only way to beat it is to have an expensive task force of spotters, aircraft, and so on placed across the country to scout ahead. If you’re not doing it on your own with 1 co-pilot, it’s a BS fake time IMO. Using a nationwide team to help you along the way is

But it didn’t.

It isn’t worth the development cost to make a game have a fully functioning VR mode when hardly anyone out there has VR setups at home. Agreed that this would be the kind of game where VR would be extremely useful, though.

Kinda like the DiRT Rally series - you can’t even make it past the second or third difficulty level (out of like 6) without memorizing the courses and essentially solving their puzzle of how to nail every apex and never lose speed, ever.

I haven’t bought kitchen appliances yet in life, but I definitely never knew that you could negotiate on them (and computers) at Best Buy and the like. Interesting.

They have to tack on fees and extras because the base price has become a race to the bottom.

There is no reason anyone should not be able to buy a car 100% online/over the phone show up to grab the keys without having to endure the backslapping and “relationship building.” 99.999% chance you’re not buying a family heirloom, you’re buying a mass produced appliance.

Yeah unfortunately the new ownership group of this blog network LOVES those, and they aren’t going away. You need to get a Chrome/Firefox/whatever extension that blocks autoplaying videos.

Chassis doesn’t have anything to do with torque steer, though.

BRO THAT FENCE IS 0.34 INCHES HIGHER THAN ALLOWED GOTTA TEAR IT DOWN

HOAs are unavoidable if you live in any populated area of Florida. Buying a home outside of a HOA in a metro area isn’t really possible.

Easier said than done in Florida. Almost everything is HOA controlled there, according to my friend in Tampa. It’s nearly impossible to find a house that isn’t part of a HOA unless you live out in the boonies, and they all have essentially the same set of basic rules.

Former Legacy GT owner here. I would absolutely not want anything to do with a 15 year old one if budgeting is a concern (and it looks like it with a kid on the way and the person in school). Even with the motor being rebuilt, that’s too much of a dice roll unless you’ve got a lot of free cash. Some of them make it to

Used to do neuro ICU (RN here). Yep, so many head injury patients from motorcycle accidents. And since my uncle also managed to kill himself on one, I will never ride one. I want to, but it’s mentally forbidden fruit at this point. I know too much to increase my risk of death while motoring roughly 30 times over per

Yep, every Prius I’ve ever been inside as an Uber ride always blows me away with how cheap the interior is. Maybe the newest one is better, but I haven’t been in it yet. Hard, cheap plastic everywhere. It’d be acceptable in an econocar like a Nissan Sentra, but at the Prius price point, it’s ridiculous.

This is one reason, but the other reason the Euro fuel economy measurements are so wildly optimistic is their test cycle is very different.

Case in point: one of my best friends has a wife and a 2 year old, and is a fighter pilot. He does nothing outdoorsy, nothing dirty, nothing involving hunting, nothing involving construction, nothing involving home improvement projects.

Trucks generate a lot of hate for a couple reasons.

Not likely unless you had a long commute to start with. Because I don’t drive to and from work, my car is classified as “pleasure/weekend” in car insurance land since it only sees ~8,000 miles a year. My current and former insurance companies both said that once you’re below about 12,000 annual miles, there are no

I just don’t understand why some people out there seem to think every single decently maintained 1980s car is now worth $5,000-8,000.
