It reminds me of the time I tell white people in comments here that whatever article was not an attack; it’s a call to do better. But if you believe someone telling you to do better is an attack, then I don’t know what to do with you.

That guy is a fucking moron.

Nice to know that according to your worldview, a black man telling/showing other black men how they fail black women is considered anti-black male.

Read back through older VSB articles by Damon. That’s not really the case when you look at his broader body of work.

Why is talking about the reality of what Black women face anti-Black male? We are always told we’re being divisive when we talk about what’s going on. It’s a great way to silence us and nothing has to change. This has nothing to do with white people and what they want.

Omg this article is fucking perfect.

Honestly, I just feel like white folks feel like they HAVE to insert themselves in our spaces especially when we fuck with them, right? Some shit I just don’t want to share.

I don’t know who started the whole inviting people to the cookout thing. I just know growing up the vibe was thrown off a bit even when an Uncle would bring his girlfriend around. I don’t invite people to shit. I might bring them a plate. But probably not because I’ll eat it.

BBQs ain’t that serious. If you’re already questioning if your supposed friend will be able to handle the blackness at something as tame as a cookout, then that’s the first sign that you shouldn’t invite them.

So a question for my fellow blacks: Just because we are “friends”, do we really have to invite mfers to the barbecue? I mean barbecues are when we are at our blackest...playing spades, dominoes and horseshoes and ballrooming... next they are gonna be asking to play and shit... I don’t have the desire nor the time foe

See but how was the survey conducted, cause if some white girl is in my face asking me if I feel that white people are attacked? You better believe I am going to tell her yes. Because I am not here for frat Evropa or the KKK rolling up to my dorm room at 3 in the morning on a Tues. I’m just trying to graduate and get

BLM is the feminism of racial activism.

Its hard to burn mayonnaise. 😅

It’s because stupid ass white people (thanks Tomi Laren) think BLM is the equivalent of the KKK for Black people.

CHOKE ON IT

Why are you surprised that some POC are quick to drink the white supremacy Koolaid? You only need to look in the comment section on any article here and find them.

When I worked on the Hill, the only members who knew how to run social media were born after 1980. Combine that fact with Cruz’s beliefs never matured past 1950, and I wager he has no idea that Twitter exists let alone how to post. My guess is he thinks Twitter has to do with birds.

I agree it’s horrible but it’s also a problem that originates in fashion design school which is why these young designers freak out about it. They teach patternmaking and for larger sizes you have to expand the pattern and not only is it barely taught, it’s treated like it’s this immense pain in the ass. It’s just

Personally, I really think it’s all inability. We’ve been trained to think that these ‘designers’ on tv and in fashion actually know what they’re doing. But let’s face it, how hard is it to dress a thin rectangle?

One of my fave Canadian retailers for “work clothes”, Reitmans, integrated their “plus size” section with everything else a year or two ago. It’s fantastic. You just feel like a regular fucking person when you go shopping.
