Eh, there was a decent exodus when Kinja first came around. Lots of folk moving to Facebook. I think a decent amount trickle back but comment much less frequently.
TLE is an old-guard Black commenter. she always is pretty straight-forward and unapologetic in the way that she discusses race. Which is great, because too often people shy away from doing so in mixed crowds.

I read it as Doug kind of mocking people who would say "crazy/insane" for the situation even though that's NOT what they mean. I read it as him trying to pander to a Social Justice audience. Either way, didn't seem sincere and therefore was annoying.
